Before I jump in let me preface this review with two things. First the positive. Services unlimited credited $1K against the 9K project. The owner did email and apologize. It is clear that maintaining a strong team is challenging not only for services ...unlimited but so many industries right now. Second, the only reason I’m writing this review is to guide homeowners to other options. I’m not interested in sharing a disgruntled viewpoint but the facts. Jumping in… we needed our downstairs HVAC and ductwork replaced. John the sales person was incredibly friendly and good guy. From the moment the crew showed up I had to be on top of everything. It was clear John had not communicated to the crew the plan which ended up causing delayed because the crew was on a different page as to how the job was going to be done. The work ended up being done haphazard. Rather than properly laying a slab flat for the HVAC system the crew found some of MY bricks in the yard and wedged them under a pre-fabled slab to make it stand up straight. I did’t see any of this until the job was completed. This cost crew and entire day because they had to uninstall the whole unit and reinstall to get the job done right. The job proceeded to fail inspection which can happen to any crew/company BUT it was representative of the lack of attention to detail. All of the boots were never properly sealed and rather than telling the team to get out there an do it right they wanted me (who is not an HVAC specialist) to take pictures to show them what was wrong. These guys have over 50 years collective experience but their asking me to show them what needed fixing. There is much more to the story but to keep it brief the number one reason I am writing this review is that there was NO communication as to what was happening. I waited over 5 months for a call to let me know someone could come out and repair the return vent molding. At the end of the day jobs can have issues and that is understandable but the lack of active communication on next steps and what is being done to proactively get the job done right was negligible. I have been a customer and have had a contract for nine years. I have always been satisfied with the company, and they have performed major services, like replacing obe of the large, outside units. The technicians are informed and informative. I had a ...problem over Labor Day weekend, and the service man was here the same day. He showed me exactly why my air wasn’t going on. He was thorough, helpful, and honest. In addition, my daughter uses them as well and is also happy.Read More...

We just moved in our brand new townhome for 2 weeks. I already called in for 2 emergency repair as my AC was dead twice in NC hot weather. It turns out that two major wires were melt from the outside unit. The second time, the technician identified the ...issue and drove to get the needed parts and fixed it around 8pm, so we can have a livable house to sleep. I truly appreciated it!Read More...
The team at Services Unlimited are great!!! They are super responsive. They worked me into a very tight schedule and had us back operational quickly. I strongly recommend this company for all you HVAC needs.
